Twilight earns its place when the home has something that only reads after dark, such as a pool, landscape or architectural lighting, a wall of glass, or a strong elevation. On a home with none of those, a good daytime exterior does the same job for the gallery. Twilight is a second window of light on the same property, so tell us when you book and we build the schedule around it.

Aerials are worth it when the ground-level frames cannot explain the property: waterfront, acreage, conservation or golf frontage, a large or oddly shaped lot, or a home whose outdoor living all sits behind the house. On a standard interior lot in a dense subdivision they add less. Every JRP flight is flown by an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot, and we check the airspace for the address before it goes on the calendar.

Our FAA Part 107 certified pilots check the airspace for every address before scheduling, request authorization where it is available, and tell you ahead of time if a property cannot be flown.

Mornings are the most reliable window in summer, when afternoon storms roll in, and twilight is scheduled around sunset year-round. Winter gives the cleanest skies and the longest usable afternoons. We plan the shoot around the orientation of the home so the sun is where it should be for the exterior and the pool.
