Are your drone pilots FAA licensed?
Yes. Every JRP drone flight is flown by an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot, and our pilots are insured for commercial aerial work. When a property sits in controlled airspace near an airport, we request FAA authorization before the flight rather than on the day.
What does drone photography show that ground photos cannot?
Aerials show the whole lot, the shape of the pool and outdoor living areas, the roofline, and where the property sits in relation to water, golf, parks, and the neighborhood. For acreage and land, they show the terrain and the tree cover. Buyers use them to understand context before they ever visit.
Can you fly a drone at any property?
Most properties can be flown, but not all. Areas around major airports need FAA authorization, some addresses fall inside permanent or temporary flight restrictions, and weather can ground a flight on the day. We check the airspace for every address before it goes on the calendar and tell you in advance if a location cannot be flown.
Can you add property-line overlays to aerial photos?
Yes. We add boundary lines, lot callouts, and labels for nearby features on request, which is popular for land, acreage, and commercial listings. Overlays are drawn from the parcel or survey information you provide and are intended for marketing, not as a legal survey.
