Villatel Orlando Resort Waterpark and Cabanas

Villatel Orlando Resort is a vacation-home resort near Disney with its own amenity campus: a waterpark with a slide tower and splash zone, a lazy river looped around a planted island, several pools, and rows of thatched cabanas and shaded loungers that guests can reserve. Villatel's design team asked JRP to document that campus for the resort website and trade-show material, separate from the earlier work on the homes themselves.

The work ran over three days between March and April 2025. A late-afternoon session gathered aerial and ground footage for a hyperlapse, a lifestyle day ran alongside a creator capturing the resort's social content, and a dedicated day covered the cabanas and premium seating. The aerials were flown low and oblique rather than straight down, so the slide tower, the river and the surrounding residential buildings read together as one planned place.

The cabana set was treated as product photography for a rentable space. Each thatched cabana was shot from the same eye-level vantage with its furniture squared up and the reserved signage visible, so a guest comparing options sees exactly what they are booking. Wider frames of the shade pavilions and umbrella loungers show how the premium seating sits along the water.
