SouthState Bank Charleston Wealth Office and Branch

In July 2026 JRP spent two days in Charleston with SouthState Bank. The brief covered the places clients and employees actually use: a SouthState Wealth office, a branch exterior with its signage and landscaping, and the bank's support center campus, along with aerial views of the city that give the locations a sense of place.

Inside the wealth office the work centered on the reception and lounge, where a textured accent wall, framed lowcountry artwork and the dimensional SouthState Wealth lettering set the tone. Frames were composed to keep verticals straight and to hold detail in both the bright cove lighting and the window views, then continued into the conference room, the glass-walled office corridor and an advisor's private office.

Outside, the drone covered the support center from above and at its monument sign, and an evening flight over the peninsula captured the Battery at sunset, the historic district rooftops and the harbor with the Ravenel Bridge on the horizon. Together the set gives the bank a consistent library of interiors, exteriors and local context for one of its core markets.
